A Capella Opportunity of a Lifetime
The very best singers in all of Barbershop will be performing at the Peppermill this month. It’s a part of the annual Mid-Winter Convention, which includes an international competition of youth choruses and senior quartets. Reno was selected to host this year’s event. To make it a truly special event for the young participants, evening shows feature:
- The five best barbershop quartets in the world, as determined at a competition held in Pittsburgh this past July.
- The amazing Westminster Chorus – three time and current international champions. This is the best men’s chorus in the world.
- Many more a cappella standout performers.
Locals from Northern Nevada may purchase tickets at the door for any of the evening shows for just $25. Convention passes, which include access to all of the competitions and evening shows, are available for $199 online at the Barbershop Harmony Society web site.
All evening performances begin at 8:00PM in the Peppermill’s Tuscany Ballroom.
