Although born in LA, our newest member spent most of his childhood in Utah. He played football at Utah State before serving our country in the Air Force. After returning to Utah he went back to school and came away with a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah. He has since done this professionally for 38
years.
He later found himself in Denver, where he met his wife Diana in 2001. They came to Reno in 2003. Lake Tahoe seemed a good place for a wedding, and they were married there in September of that year – on a sailboat!
Dennis sang in choral groups all through high school. While in Colorado in the early 80s he sang with a classical chorale.
Although not yet having met our chorus, he attended our show at Bartley Ranch. Not only did he like what he saw, he noticed someone familiar –Jeff Healion, who works out at the same gym. The rest is history, as they say.
In addition to barbershop, he loves to play the guitar and sing folk style as well.
He and Diana love the outdoors, and are frequent hikers and campers. They are planning on retiring soon. They love to travel, and plan to do so once retirement becomes a reality. Let’s hope it’s not during Contest weeks.
Welcome Dennis. We are very glad to have you with us.
