The Silver Dollar Chorus is off to an energetic and historic start for 2016. In the first few days we’ve already held a public performance and in two short weeks our chorus will be historically hosting an international convention. Wow! There is no better time to be a part of the Reno Chorus.
Our job to staff the volunteers for the Mid-Winter convention is the chorus’s only role, but one of the most important ones. Our efforts represent our chapter in many ways and how proud we will be that we have the manpower and energy to do this. Our able Ken Martin is organizing our efforts and reports that we still have critical shifts to fill.
We have a robust list of volunteers but urgently need more for remaining shifts. For those who have already selected a shift, please check your schedules to see if you can fit another. For members we have not heard from, we need you to find a shift to help. One short shift will make a large impact on helping. Ken will begin reaching out to us to confirm our availability for the remaining shifts. For all of us, our participation is an ardent way to affirm our right to be part of this great chorus.
We especially invite our non-singing members to consider volunteering for a short shift or two as a way to keep your barbershop stoke vibrant.
Please do not wait another moment. Check your schedule right now and please call Ken Martin at 615-308-5017, operators standing by. If you prefer email, [email protected]
All hands on deck. All aboard. And all for SDC.
